Software for Fresh Food Wholesalers - Overview

Overview
The Fresh Food Wholesalers system developed and supplied by Midrange Systems is based on the OneOffice 3000 suite of modular ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.

The suite caters for all aspects of the wholesale Fresh Food supply trade, including:

• Sales Order Processing and Invoicing
• Stock Control
• Purchase Order Processing
• Debtors Ledger
• Creditors Ledger
• General Ledger

with additional modules for e-Commerce, Manufacturing, Landed Costs, Asset Register and others, however because it is modular only the individual modules required need to be purchased.

Sales Order Entry
The software has been developed specifically for Fresh Food Wholesalers to suit their method of operation. For fast 'phone around' outbound order taking the system offers template orders showing a list of each customer's regular items, needing only the quantity required to be entered. The system also suggests 'specials'.

All of these at each customer's specific pricing if required. Full order history is also available to assist. The system automatically calculates line and order gross profit and can display this optionally as a double check on margins. Credit control data can also be displayed at the same time!

The system provides for catchweight invoicing, allowing orders to be entered in units (say boxes) but priced per kilo following picking.

The system allows for many different units of measure including mixed units (with conversion) for individual items where required. Picking lists are printed clearly to assist working in challenging conditions.

Delivery Rounds
Invoices can be printed in delivery order within round, and can be called of by round. Optionally, the system prints overdue statements to accompany current invoices to assist with cash collection. The system also integrates with route planning software if required in order to reduce transport costs.

Stock Control
If stock is held in different stores the system keeps track of this with multi-location stock control. It can also keep track of different batches of the same product which are held in different stores. All batches can be assigned sell by dates.
